BC KAGAN is an internationally published photographer best known for her portraits of emerging punk rock, new wave and alternative rock bands. The long list of eminent bands and musicians she has photographed includes, among others: U2, Aerosmith, Phish, The Police, The Cars, Duran Duran, The Buzzcocks, The Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joe Strummer, Fela Kuti, Billy Idol, and Iggy Pop.

BC Kagan's photographs have appeared in numerous publications including Rolling Stone, Spin, Sounds, Guitar World, The Boston Globe, The Boston Phoenix, The Village Voice, The New York Times and GQ.

BC Kagan was a major contributor to groundbreaking new music magazines like Trouser Press, The New York Rocker, and Boston Rock (Newbury Comics years).

CD and album art credits are abundant and varied: BC Kagan was the largest single supplier of photographs to Rhino Records' popular 9 disc DIY series and since has provided photographs for many Rhino Records' single CD and boxed set booklets.

Phish's landmark album, Lawnboy, was entirely designed, photographed, and art directed by BC Kagan in 1990 for album, cassette and CD release (the album was certified gold in 2004).

BC Kagan's photographs also appear on CD's from major labels like Electra, RCA, Virgin, Island, Sony, Mercury and Universal Records.
